Profold’s Gift Card System is a compact and economical card finishing system that has been designed specifically for today’s high-quality and high-resolution Drop-on-Demand (DOD) printers.

The GCS-2000 provides several advantages over other comparable systems in that we have engineered our transport table utilizing a metallic belt.  This type of belting allows the DOD print head to be placed very close to the belt surface. Having the print head closer to the printing surface give our system superior print quality. Also, the metallic belts are not susceptible to wearing out like conventional belt materials as it is much more tolerant to the heat and UV light that are necessary to cure the UV inks that are used by DOD printers.
